November 2016 – Im Rahmen des Prokofiew-Marathons der Münchner Philharmoniker trat Alexandra Conunova mit Mozarts Violinkonzert Nr. 3 auf. Die Süddeutsche Zeitung lobte ihren individuelle und ausdrucksstarke Interpretationen als „erotisch boshaften Verführungsversuch“. „Die Geigerin kokettierte mit den Hörern wie mit den Noten. Da verzögerte sie Erwartbares und bezweifelte es so. Dort verwandelte sie sehnsüchtige Blicke in Klang, die sich bald als dreiste Fopperei entpuppten. Im langsamen Satz spielte sie dann derart verführerisch leise, dass Gergiev alle Hände voll zu tun hatte, das Orchester ebenfalls so leise zu bekommen.“ (Süddeutsche Zeitung, 14. An Event of Interpretation: Me n delssohns’ double concerto with Lena Neudauer and Matthias Kirschnereit

October 2016 –  with the South-West German chamber orchestra under Timo Handschuh, Lena Neudauer and Matthias Kirchnereit excited in Pforzheim and Lippstadt. The newspaper celebrated the concert as  a “relished event of interpretation” (Lippstädter Zeitung, 10 / 10 / 2016).

Lena Neudauer under Marcus Bosch

October 2016 – With Prokofjew’s violin concerto  No .1, Lenau Neudauer excited  spectators, conductor and orchestra alike. “The breathtaking perfection playing with the agreeably humble seeming soloist” and the “feelable band between all involved” made the evening a wonderful concert experience. “With gripping emotions”, Lena Neudauer finished her encore with the violonin solo sonata No. 2 by Eugène Ysaye (Heidenheimer Zeitung, 18 / 10 / 2016).

Stuttgart chamber orchestra and Alexandra Conunova on tour

October 2016 – On the 12th of October, Alexandra Conunova presented Peteris Vasks’ “Vox Amoris” under Matthias Foremny in Bayreuth. Contemporary music with great tension and rich sounds. An immaculate sound of “almost glass like transparancy” and “lyrical melody” were the verdicts of the press about the young soloist. (Nordbayerische Kurier, 14 / 10 / 2016).

In April and May 2017 the Stuttgart chamber choir and Alexandra Conunova will continue their succesful cooperation with concerts in Donaueschingen, Lünen and Broken:

Lenau Neudauer to be Professor in Munich

September 2016 – Julia Fischer and Lena Neudauer performed on stage together as children. In their youth, they shared the path of the early soloist training. From autumn 2016 on, both child prodigies will teach together as professors at the Musikhochschule München. Until summer term 2016 Lena Neudauer taught at the Music High School Saar, where she started as a professor at the age of 26.

Matthias Kirschnereit at the Rheingau Music Festival

July 2016 – On the 9th of July, Matthias Kirschnereit gave a guest performance in a sold out hall in the Johannisberg castle. With a moderated concert he led the audience through a spread of personally selected compositions of Mendelssohn, Schubert via Debussy to Lachenmann and Ginastera. The concert was recorded by Hessischer Rundfunk and will be broadcast on the 6th of September 20:05 on hr2-Kultur.

Breslau at the Casals Festival

July 2016 – Under the auspices of Hartmut Rohde, the Breslau Chamber Orchestra Leopoldinum delivered a brilliant performance with varying programs and constellations at the Casals festival. Chamber music, compositions from Central Europe and a program “from Bach to Bernstein” as well as the cooperation with the young prize-winning cellist Edgar Moreau excitee the festival audience. The crowning finale of the three-day concert marathon was the open air concert in the Palace of Kings of Mallorca in Perpignan in front of 1000 guests.

5th Season Tidal concerts under Matthias Kirschnereit.

June 2016 – On the 24th of june the tidal concerts opened their season, which have developed into a festival tip under Matthias Kirschnereit. State prime Ministor Stephan Weil visited the opening concert of the Festival with Matthias Kirschnereit, Ingolf Turban and the Mendelssohn chamber Orchestra under Andreas Mitschke. This season Matthias Kirschnereit was able to win artists such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, the Academy for old music Berlin, Nils Mönkemeyer and Daniel Hope for a performance.

Matthias Kirschnereit can be experienced in performance multiple times – with Orchestra, as chamber musician and during piano-evenings.

Matthias Kirschnereit publishes Händel Vol.3

June 2016 – With the third CD of Händel’s organ concertos transposed for piano the production of this unusual project reaches its conclusion.

With the Cembalo concertos of J S Bach being part of the expected repertoire of world class pianists, the same principle has been proven to work with Händel. Matthias Kirschnereits transposition of the solo of Händel’s organ concerts to the modern piano has convinced audience and press alike. With 16 concertos on a total of 3CDs this sensational unheard edition has been completed.

Alexandra Conunova is Borletti-Buitoni-Trust Fellowship Winner 2016

The young violinist is awarded Borletti-Buitoni-Trust Fellowship Winner 2016. This highly renowned award is given to outstanding young musicians to develop and sustain international careers. Since its first awards in 2003, BBT has provided support to 96 individuals and ensembles from 30 countries like Sol Gabetta, Vilde Frang, Tine Thing Helseth, Francesco Piemontesi, Julian Steckel and Antoine Tamestit .
